The decent from the Lake Agnes Teahouse

The decent down from the Lake Agnes Teahouse did not disappoint. We took the advice of the waitress at the teahouse who told us of another route down the mountain which meets up with mirror lake and joins back to our original trail. This trail took us past the infamous Beehive which also provided beautiful views of another mountain tucked in behind beehive. The trek was steep, but worth the extra effort. The one benefit was no crowds! We were the only ones on this trail which made it quite enjoyable. Once at mirror lake, our trail joined back up with the main one which had horses on it and tons of people. Avoiding the horse poop was difficult, but we were so happy to be finally descending this mountain. Encouraging those climbing that it wasn't to much further!もっと詳しく
