This is our eventual objective: the Rob Roy Glacier.
The start of the trail (a stairway over a fence).A little walk along the riverside......then cross the suspension bridge ...View from the bridge....and begin the walking trail. These are predator traps to control stoats, rats & other pests to help protect native wildlife. That this rock is so precariously balanced over the trail just gives me the creeps.Sometimes we had to walk under some natural obstacles ...... and sometimes just around them. Our path wasn't always nice and clear......but it was always beautiful.Almost there...The glacier & its various waterfalls beneath it.The view from the trails end.Heading back, the sun popped out to give even more beauty to our trail.

TravelerStunning trail. How is the glacier bearing up with climate change?
