Chris and I walked 2 miles of the trail. A mile in, we came upon a desert garden where you could sit in the shade and relax. Pictures of that are included. We hiked another mile in and came back.Read more

We had company arrive yesterday, Pam and Jim, who are staying in Sun Lakes. We did another part of the De Anza trail yesterday by Tubac, which is south of here. Great day, sunny no wind.

We went to the Botanical Garden in Tucson. Beautiful plants. Of course, lots of cacti and succulents. Temps were in the mid 70⁰ so not bad!!

We did a shorter walk today. Started at the trailhead and went to the desert garden. A little breezy so birds were quiet.
