    The start of the trail
We came upon a group of javalena called a squadron. In the shade so hard to see.Another javelina to see. A couple were quite large. Also a tan baby that hadn't changed color. The Santa Cruz River was flowing above ground here. Lots of green for the javelina to eat.We were hungry when we finished the trail so stopped in at the Longhorn Saloon and Restaurant. We had homemade chips with onion dip, wings and elote. The elote were corn fritters. Delicious food.

    De Anza Trail by Tubac

    February 18, 2024 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

We had company arrive yesterday, Pam and Jim, who are staying in Sun Lakes. We did another part of the De Anza trail yesterday by Tubac, which is south of here. Great day, sunny no wind.

Love this photo ♥️ [Heather Friesen]
