Construction began in 1194 after a fire destroyed much of the previous cathedral. It was consecrated in 1260. All of the stained glass is original.

PengembaraLast night, “60 Minutes” had a segment about the restoration of the cathedral. So interesting!! But sad to learn that the lead architect died on a hiking trip 10 days ago.
