Le Clos Luce

We visited the last home of Leonardo da Vinci in Amboise. He came here at the invitation of the king, Francis I, to study anatomy. In Italy he was prohibited from working on cadavers so was limited in his research. The photos show the outside of the house, Leonardo's bed chamber where he died in 1519, and his workshop.Read more
