    Enjoying a beautiful day outdoors in North Sulawesi. Michael and his friends were so friendly to show us the best of the Minahasa Highlands, and in 1 day we hiked up the volcanoes Lokon and Mahawu 🌋, explored a tropical cave and had an adventurous climb down to a tropical waterfall. You really have an exceptional nature here in Indonesia, please take care of it 💚Baca lagi

    Against all odds, the luggage arrived safely

    Abrupt departure

    Due to the current circumstances because of Corona and advice from all sides, we decided to go to the airport to jump on the last flight home via Singapore. Things are so uncertain at the moment and move so quickly that we didn’t want to risk to be stuck in Indonesia, which closed it’s borders for foreigners today. Unfortunately we didn’t even have the time for a proper goodbye and everything happened too quickly. We just now at the moment that we will not abandon the project because of our leaving!
    Luckily everything worked out fine and the people from SilkAir, Singapore Airlines and the airports did an amazing job to get us home! We are happy to be home!
    Now we will have to figure out how to spend our voluntary quarantine for the next 14 days...    Baca lagi

    End of the trip

    And yes, we have arrived safely to Germany. It was an adventure but everything worked good. Now we will stand a 14 days quarantine at our upa-chalupa. We should have time to think what is going to be our next steps. Thank you Indonesia, we will see you again.Baca lagi
