A great and very typical German town with a street market throughout today. Stalls and shops filled with amazing German food. Our last stock up point before crossing into France tomorrow.

ReisenderThere is o much to love about German food, fridge and freezer full. Just left enough room to pick up some french butter! Hummm...Oktoberfest...just wasn’t our thing. It was really just a big fair ground with added beer halls that were enormous, overcrowded, frantic and loud. We found a tiny corner outside one beer hall, had a beer and a chat with a french family and 2 South Korean guys and then left. Too busy/crowded, but we had to give it a go. Headed into Munich for the rest of the day, much more relaxed having a beer and schnitzel at the Hofbrauhaus! 🍺🍺🍺
ReisenderThat's the impression we got of Oktoberfest from the small bit we saw of it. That's not our thing either! Sounds like you rescued the day in a much nicer fashion though 👍😁
