    Litchfield

    Litchfield National park feels a lot smaller and busier than Kakadu but was still well worth visiting. Our first stop was the magnetic termite mounds which are all aligned I'm the same direction to stop them overheating in the sun. Quite a surreal thing to see...
    We then went to Florence falls which were spectacular but busy, we swam in the upper river to avoid the crowds. Later we found out it was a bank Holiday weekend which is why if was busy. That night we stayed in a campsite built around a Banyan Tree which was lovely.
