Day one: 22k steps
• Landed at 10:30am, shuttled to pick up the Camper in Reykjavik (Snail), filled up on groceries at Kronan
• Stopped at our first Waterfalls ( ). Large patch of Alaskan Lupine flowers and rock ruins
• First Hike – Glymur. There were sections of rock steps where you needed to use the rope to climb and the view had this Jurassic park feel.
• Dinner: N1 gas station fries. Stole our first campsite.

Highlight of the day: creating the tag “Pro Trails”. This is when you have to cross water (in the case of Glymur, a lot of water) to continue the trail. We learned when we got back down to the car, that the trail we thought was a large loop and included the water crossing, wasn;t actually a loop, we had just made it one.Meer informatie
