Taity Time

Even after a decent rest day yesterday, I still felt as though I needed a day or so to fully recover. The news that Jack may be joining me sooner and getting to Rome tonight only encouraged me to rest. The days will likely get longer and busier when he joins me. As a result, I chose to just wander through Rome again, this time going through the Villa Borghese gardens. This was quite nice but very big. And given I was trying to rest, it was a bit difficult to see it all. It was interesting, but given it is mostly a park, there is limited opportunity to learn about what you are looking at. Apart from this I did nothing all day. I went back to my apartment and waited for Jack to arrive via train. I collected him from the station and walked him to the hostel. Although we were booked into the same place, he got put in the actual hostel we booked rather than getting transferred, like I did. And although I thought I got the shit hand in that deal, turns out the original hotel is far worse and much busier.もっと詳しく
