Isla Mujeres

After a sleep in, we began our proper exploration of Cancun by heading to the island off the coast. As we were ferrying across to the island, instantly you saw the amazing blue water and white sandy beaches that this part of Mexico is renowned for. As we got off, we were treated to a beautiful little town that felt like we were days away from Cancun. The small streets and walkways, palm trees shading the paths, scooters, souvenir shops, and dry grass rooves, all made this island incredibly cute. We found a nice cafe for some breakfast before wandering around the cute streets some more. Eventually, we found a nice beach to park up at and enjoy some drinks as well as the beautiful water. We spent most of the afternoon laying by the beach and relaxing before once again seeing what else the island had to offer. Not long after a short stint of exploring, it was time to head back to the mainland. The afternoon consisted of watching TV and eating.Leia mais
