Van pickup day! & First stretch to Huski

Drive down to Huskisson via Wollongong and Kiama Blowhole 🐳 crazy sunset at White Sands beach. Also nearly attacked by a crazy German shepherd who was protecting his completely spaced out and tripping owner at the beach 😱 but all went well in the end. 😬Read more

Day 4: White Sands beach - Huskisson

Just a relaxed first day after an exciting first night in the van. Many funny birds‘ noises on the campsite.

Also in many weather changes during the day. The first 2 pictures are 10 minutes apart! 😀

Day 5: No-Dolphin-Cruise but Kangaroos

First an unfortunate dolphin-free Dolphin cruise, but then a beautiful campsite in Jervis Bay and an afternoon at beautiful Murray‘s Beach 🌞🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏽‍♂️🦘🦘

Day 6: From Jervis Bay to Eden

With a lot of stops and kangaroos in between 🥰 Also there was some story about a lost apple on a bridge over a river with snakes and on the way to Eden.. felt like we were in some biblical scenario for a moment 🍏 🐍 🌳Read more

Day 7: Eden to Wilson Promontory

Mostly just a travel day (after a run, shopping and refilling everything in the morning) to cover the distance between Eden and the Promontory. Driving hours upon hours through vast forest - very beautiful and did not get boring at all 😍Read more

Day 8 - Wonderful Wilson Promontory

Absolute stunning nature - we did not want to leave this place (even though it was pouring down on the second day we were there). We took it easy, did a couple of walks through the deep forest to search for wombats. Just when we kind of gave up and got back to the campsite, Alexandros finally spotted one 😍😍😍 casually walking across the path and into the bushes to graze. We then took a short drive to the favourite feeding grounds and found plenty more wombats, emus, kangaroos and birds 🙌🏼🤎🤍🩶🖤💚Read more

Day 9: Leaving Prom to go to other side

Pouring rain in the morning. Started driving towards the other side of Melbourne to access the great ocean road. Passing by an unassuming place called Fish Creek which had amazing coffee/arts/crafts and as we later found out was featured in a TV series. Did not enjoy the traffic around Melbourne, we’re used to wilderness and empty roads by now 😀 drove all the way to Princetown to see the Twelve Apostles the next day.
