Reached the Isle of Jersey and its capital city of St Helier. Staying at the Hotel de Normandie which shares a corner of the beachfront with a quaint little pub. St Helier is the home of the actor Henry Cavill — Superman. And it is also the home of Sir George Carteret who was the first lord proprietor of the British royal colony of New Jersey.
