La Corbiére

I waited for the first really sunny day to visit the west coast of Jersey and the lighthouse known as La Corbiére. From here you can see Sark, the island in the Channel Islands that is closest to Jersey. This passage became notorious for its many shipwrecks and a monument commemorates one that ended with all 307 passengers and crew being saved by the coastguard in 1995.Weiterlesen
