Doune

Doune Castle boasts some impressive modern connections having been the filming location for Ivanhoe, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Outlander, and Game of Thrones (as Winterfell). The audio guide in the castle is narrated by Terry Jones in the style of Monty Python.
