Amalfi

From Salerno to Amalfi is only 30 minutes by ferry. This town has a flag connection. It was once the capital of a powerful empire. Its flag, along with those of the republics of Venice, Genoa, and Pisa are often seen on a shield to represent the Republic of Italy. It was once at the center of the flag in the white stripe in the middle. Maybe you’ve seen it. Now it’s used as the Italian maritime flag. We had to wait (I say we GOT to wait) in the seaport of Amalfi for the bus we need to get to our next stop. Martina wanted so badly to force everyone into lines for the bus, but that’s not how it’s done here. She decided she may be too German for this part of Italy.Baca lagi
