Fishing and Cherry Pies

While the boys didn't catch dinner, Cole did use his Scout skills to make (with Mel) a box Dutch oven to bake cherry pies for dessert! A storm came in early and we got rained out early this morning, but still on the top of our favorite trips list and we saw a lovely deer and her baby on the way out. A good sign! And Mel was voted hero of the day for getting soaked to the skin loading up our stuff in the rain.Read more
