Lots of Smoke...and a Declaration

Since I'm sharing all our awesome trip pictures, I should also share some of our challenges...we quickly realized that the entire area we had planned to drive through, including Banff is on fire and covered in smoke, so we diverted back down to WA and discovered North Cascades NP and Glacier are also on fire, so there went all our plans to camp in some of the most beautiful country in the world:( Then we got to a hotel (best hotel room ever!) only to discover we had left a weeks worth of the boys clothes in our hotel in Canada (of course all their favorites). After being really upset for a while, Cole wrote the declaration pictured, definitely a lesson for all of us on what is really important and just going with the flow!Meer informatie
