      Our journey led us from the coastal charms of Normandy back to the enchanting Loire Valley, where we embarked on a day filled with history, culture, and a unique overnight experience.

      Our first stop was the illustrious Château de Chenonceau, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and a testament to the rich history of the region. As we wandered through the grand halls and exquisite chambers of the castle, we were transported back in time. The stories of queens and nobles who had graced these halls seemed to echo in the opulent surroundings.

      The gardens surrounding Château de Chenonceau were a sight to behold, with meticulously manicured landscapes and tranquil water features. The beauty of the gardens was a testament to the artistry of the period, creating a harmonious blend of architecture and nature.

      As the day turned to night, we embarked on a unique adventure - spending the night in a cave that had been transformed into an apartment. This rustic and charming abode allowed us to experience the region in a truly unique way.       Our final day in Normandy arrived, and it was a reminder that even the most enchanting journeys must come to an end. However, this day began with a unique set of circumstances, as Awen had injured his paw and needed some rest and care.

      In times like these, when a cherished companion is in need, it becomes a day for taking it easy and finding solace in the simple pleasures of life. Awen's well-being took precedence, and we ensured that he received the attention and care he needed.

      While Awen rested, I ventured out for a short hike with Nessy amidst the dunes and along the beach. The serene surroundings provided a peaceful backdrop for reflection and contemplation. The rhythmic sound of the waves, the endless expanse of the sea, and the sandy shores were a reminder of the tranquility that nature can bring.

      Swimming in the cool waters of the ocean offered a sense of rejuvenation, a moment of communion with the natural world. It was a way to unwind and let the worries of the world wash away.

      As we returned to our temporary home in Normandy, we spent the remainder of the day in the company of our beloved Border Collies, cherishing the moments of togetherness and the shared experiences of our journey.      Читать далее

      Our visit to this quaint village was a delicious affair, as we indulged in the fresh seafood that is a hallmark of the region. The flavors of the ocean were a comforting delight, and our taste buds danced with every bite.

      Our leisurely evening began with a tranquil walk along the dunes. The soft sand beneath our feet and the gentle sea breeze provided the perfect backdrop for contemplation and reflection. The dogs, Awen and Nessy, reveled in the freedom of this untouched shoreline, their joy infectious as they raced along the beach.

      As the sun cast its warm, golden glow across the landscape, we found the ideal spot to witness the peaceful sunset.       Our first stop transported us back in time to the days of windmills as we visited the Old Windmill of Cotentin. This historic structure stood as a testament to the region's agricultural heritage, its weathered blades whispering stories of bygone eras.

      Next on our itinerary was the Biscuiterie du Cotentin, a place where we could savor the flavors of tradition. Sampling the delicious local biscuits and treats was a delightful experience, and we couldn't resist bringing some home as souvenirs of our journey.

      The Plage de la Vieille Église awaited us, a place where history met the beauty of the coastline. The old ruin of a church added a touch of mystery to this deserted beach, as we wandered amidst its ancient stones, imagining the stories it held within its walls.

      The azure waters of the sea beckoned once more, and we couldn't resist the temptation to swim and cool off in its refreshing embrace. Awen and Nessy joined in the water play, their enthusiasm mirroring our own.

      Granville, with its cultural treasures and seaside pleasures, had been a memorable start to our day. But our adventures were far from over. We made our way to Pointe d'Agon, where the lighthouse stood as a sentinel overlooking the vast, sandy beach.
