Final hotel before the home stretch. This will be the longest leg (675 miles) and I cross another time zone so it’ll be about 11 hrs driving, 12 hrs elapsed.

One striking thing I noticed while leaving the hotel and heading east is the miles and miles of corn fields. Incredible.

Also the most windmills I’ve ever seen, sometimes hundreds from every angle tucked into the corn fields. Trucks carrying a windmill vane are also a sight to see. The vanes appear to be 150’-200’ long and dwarf the truck carrying them as well as the lead and following cars.Baca selengkapnya
