Made it to Apollo Bay

We made it to Apollo Bay, along the Great Ocean Rd looking through Torquay, Lorne - nice little town, made a friend with a cockatoo in the carpark and lastly Apollo Bay
Spectacular view from Mariner's Lookout

Gorgeous view from our site, walked to Mariners Lookout on top of the mountain behind us, is on private property, stunning views over Apollo Bay. Walked through rainforest and a steep climb, worth it!
Cape Otway Lightstation

Headed off to Cape Otway, amazing views and history. Climbed the Lighthouse, visited the Telegraph station said to be haunted, keepers quarters and WWII radar bunker. Beautiful National Park 🙂
Port Campbell National Park

Headed off early to beat the predicted rain storms, apparently getting July weather early 🙄 but have been lucky to plan ahead and so far been blessed with the weather being in sync with our walksBaca lagi
Port Campbell and the Gourmet Trail

Arrived at Port Campbell, a small little village, with lots of eateries. Took a drive out to the old lookout and watched the surfers brave the weather and surf. The rain came in later this afternoonBaca lagi

A quick stop at Port Fairy and Portland today on our way to Mount Gambier, nice to see some blue sky 🌞
Arrived in Mount Gambier

Arrived at Mount Gambier and had a couple of hours to get our feel of the place , stopped at The Blue Lake, stunning colour from the limestone, view from the lake and the stone tower. Can't wait toBaca lagi

Sightseeing mount Gambier

Umpherston Sink-hole, Wow! Our favourite, so beautiful, you can walk right down and under caves, lots of bees and small wildlife, a little paradise 🤩

On the way to Cape Jervis along the Fleurier way, stopping in at Normanville Jetty and looking across the ferry terminal at Backstairs Passage to Kangaroo Island
Victor harbour

Had lunch and a wander around Victor Harbour, beautiful little town. Saw the horse drawn tram going over to Granite Island. Lots of wineries around McLaren Vale, last stop soak in the view over theBaca lagi
