After weeks of planning, I was ready to drive to Florida. The car was totally packed, with bicycle, golf clubs, and even snacks. While in new haven at my singing class, I received an email from lindsay that threw my plans into the air.
Would i come to Seattle and babysit in late January? Of course I would. But if I wasn't going to come back to Florida in January, I didn't want to drive. So, since I still had a plane reservation to key west, made back when I planned to make a quick visit, then return to Maine for Christmas with mom, I unpacked, re-packed and was on the plane 16 hours after getting Lindsay's email.
I stayed in Key West for a few days, then drove to Sanibel (six hours) to visit George and Lee Haines. Then back to Key West for Christmas with John and Roberta, Molly and Jeff, and Andrew and Ben. We played regular tennis, went to the beach, road bikes, did Karaoko, etc., etc.もっと詳しく
