    2 Nights in Trinco. I enjoyed the pretty beach a lot, there was a nice Beach Restaurant/Bar and I finally went diving again. Monday there was a super cool Beach party at the Bar I went to with ppl from the Hostel and it was so much fun. But in Trinco it was sooo hot, I was always sweating and it was quite expensive.Read more

    Diving in Sri Lanka

    First Dive in 2 years. At the beginning I was really struggling because I couldn't get used to breath through a regulator. But the diving instructor did a great job and managed to calm me down. As soon as I saw the first Ray I everything went well and the second dive I was really calm. We saw a lot stingray, huge murane, mantis shrimp, lionfish.     Cave Climbing

    New adventure: So I met Anni (a german girl from a hostel in Sigiriya) on the street in Ella and we went for a juice. And then we decided to go cave Climbing together. It was a very adventurous and unique thing to do but also very scarry. You need to take 2 very narrow ladders to get down and inside the cave it's super slippery, dark and wet. We had a guide cause otherwise you ll habe no chance. At the bottom of the cave there is this gorgeous natural cave which was very refreshing. 😊Read more

    5 Nights in Ella. Ella is a tiny town in between some mountains in central Sti Lanka. You have amazing views everywhere you go and there is so much nature around you. I loved my hostel and met so many amazing people in the hostel. There was a cooking class, cute dogs, a trivia quiz and a lot of mosquitos.Read more

    Diyaluma Waterfall

    Samstag haben wir einen Ausflug zum Diyaluma Wasserfall gemacht. Nach einigen Treppenstufen (wie überall in Sri Lanka) sind wir oben angekommen und es war wirklich total cool. Man konnte auf verschiedene Ebenen des Wasserfalls schwimmen und auch springen. Ich hatte sogar irgendwas einen der natürlichen Pools ganz allein für mich und konnte richtig entspannen🥰Read more

    Took the Train to Nuwara Elija and spent there one night. It was surprisingly cold compared to the rest of Sri Lanka. I visited Lovers Leap Waterfall and a temple. On my way back from the waterfall I met these lovely young girls who approached me to train their English.Read more

    Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy

    One night in Kandy. Visited the royal botanical gardens and got asked for a few selfies there again like wtf ?
    The Room in the Hostel only had mike 4 random beds next to each other and I thought I had the room just for myself but later I got 2 (very lovely) roomies. Except the Gardens I didn't do a lot I Kandy which is a bit sad but I didn't really had the time and Motivation to do it.Read more

    Koh Phi Phi

    After a bad Start in Phuket (I really had a exhausting travel day and just hated Phuket and the hostel) I arrive on Koh Phi Phi and really enjoyed it. It is quite touristy but still has a nice vibe. The Beaches are amazing and I saw the clearest water on earth. One day I rented a kayak and could paddle on the ocean !! to another beach. What a cool experience. The parties in the evening are crazy aswell. There's a bar with a muay thai fights in the middle, beach parties with fire rope jumping and more.     Private Boat Tour

    Josh Carlis und ich haben am Mi eine Private Boots Tour gemacht. Das war unglaublich cool. Als ersten Stop haben wir am Shark Point geschnorchelt und auch finally (relativ große) Black Tip Reef Sharks gesehen. Ich war ultra begeistert. Dann waren wir ab einem Strand. Am Monkey Bay, dem nächsten Stop, würde Josh fast von nem Affen beklettert und wir haben auch Baby Äffchen gesehen und konnten nochmal schnorcheln.     Krabi

    Aug 14–17, 2024 in Thailand ⋅ ☁️ 28 °C

    In Ao Nang haben wir uns erst mal ein sehr sehr geiles Hotel Zimmer gegönnt und vom Balkon den Sonnenuntergabg genossen. Sonnenuntergänge in Krabi sind 10/10 Am nächsten Tag haben wir uns 2 Scooter gemietet und die Region erkundet. Dabei waren wir am Emerald und Blue Pool und sind auf dem Weg zu einem Wasserfall total in den Jungle gefahren. Ein paar locals haben uns dann wieder rausgelotst sodass wir dann noch einen Tempel in den Bergen sehen konnten. Am letzten Tag haben wir eine Kayak Tour auf den Wasserkanälen gemacht.Read more
