  • Seiul Day 13 Lotte World

    October 2, 2024 in South Korea ⋅ 🌙 15 °C

Spent the Day at Lotte World, an amusement park in Seoul with Elza. Tbh it was beautiful but there were also a lot of negatives so I didn't really enjoy it. The queues were so long that we had to wait almost 2 h for a rollercoaster and 1 h for a 1 min ride. Because of the long queues we couldn't really enjoy the park that much. After the park I went to the Lotte mall and found a very nice ghibli shop ans I felt excited as a kid there.Read more

  • Seoul Day 15 Hanok Village

    October 4, 2024 in South Korea ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Yesterday I just hanged our with some guys from the hostel and then switched to a different hostel.
So today I decided to visit a Hanok Village outside of Seoul and I didn't get disappointed.
First a coffee in a very nice cafe with great view over the village and the mountain scenery. Then I was strolling around through the village and then went to a temple. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place, I really loved it. After that I did a small hike through the forest there to enjoy the calmness before going back to Seoul.
Back in Seoul I went to this artsy DIY Mall which was super cute and had Michelin Guide Ramen. On the way to the hostel I found a random flower field in the middle of the city woooow

  • Seoul Day 16 Firework Festival

    October 5, 2024 in South Korea ⋅ ☀️ 17 °C

Did some Coffee Shop Hopping in the Morning and went to some gorgeous Cafés. After a break in the Hostel elza and I headed to the Han River to wait for the Firework Festival. It was already super crowded when we arrived at 4:30 pm. We had some snacks while waiting till 7:30 when the Firework started. We had go find a place with a good view which was very chaotic cause it was soo crowded but we ended up with a nice view. A lot of Koreans waited the whole day and brought even tables and tents. Some were filming with 4 cameras at the same time.
The Firework itself was the best one I ever saw. Just size, color and technic were immaculate. They even had some Firework along the bridge. Sadly my camera isn't the best and I couldn't really capture all of it. But it was soooo good.

  • Seoul Day 17 Hanbok im Hanok Village

    October 6, 2024 in South Korea ⋅ ☁️ 18 °C

After a nice savory breakfast (which is hard to get cause everything is sweet in Korea) I met with Stella, an Italian who lived in Germany. We rented a Hanbok together which is the traditional Korean clothing. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and chose a white blouse instead a black haha. We strolled around the palace and the hanok village and took cute pictures. At my last night I met with Jacob, elza and Stella to get some Korean Barbecue and then some Karaoke going. It was so much fun. Love these guys🥰Read more

  • Da Lat

    Oct 12–14, 2024 in Vietnam ⋅ ☁️ 22 °C

We arrived early in Da Lat after a ride with the night bus with not a lot of sleep. So we had some food and coffee to get awake and ready for the day. We then took a alpine rollercoaster (Rodelbahn) which was a lot fun even tho people in front of us were always breaking and stopping cause Josh had the plan to go full speed the whole way. We saw the Dalat waterfall and took the slide back up. After that we found an amazing cafe with great cake, cinnamon rolls and smoothies. After a little nap we had family dinner and some drinks in the hostel and met a very nice English couple. The second Day we joined a Canyoning Tour. With a group we learned how to do abseiling and then did it in the waterfalls. We spend the whole day with abseiling, natural watersides, pipeline and some jungle trekking. It was a bit scary but also very adventurous and Josh loved the adrenaline. It was a really cool experience even tho clumsy Adri fell down some slippery rocks. (But no worries only bruises and little scratches). At the evening we checked out a food market and the maze bar which was basically a maze lol.Read more

From Da Nang we did a trip to the Ba Na Hills wich is a Amusement Park very high in the mountains. It started quite rough with me buying the wrong tickets and needing to pay extra to the alrea ndy expensive tickets to get inside and Josh losing his phone, and the weather being shit so the whole parc was covered in fog. But everything turned out alright and Josh found his phone so we could still enjoy the park. To get to the park you need to take a very long cable card up the hill which was super cool. The park was very European styled.Read more

  • Ha long Bay

    Oct 24–26, 2024 in Vietnam ⋅ ☁️ 28 °C

We made it to Ha long Bay and we're surprised by a Ghost town. We heard Ha long Bay was hit by Typhoon Yagi and still saw trees and damaged shops but we were surprised how empty everything was. No tourists, no restaurants, a lot of hotels just being completely empty. But my mood was bad anyway so we just stayed in and took in the view from the Hostel over the Bay. For the next day we booked a cruise to explore the Bay which I was afraid of it being super touristy. In the end it was alright. The Bay is very beautiful and one of the nature world wonders but the water was quite dirty from all of the boats.
At night I catched a beautiful sunset over the Harbour and parts of the bay before taking another night bus.
