Varanasi at sunrise

This morning we woke up early to catch the early morning sunrise activities at the Ganges (early mornings are usually a huge effort for our family!). Lila dipped her feet into to river, and Jean went for a swim. After the buzzing activity of the evening, the relative calm of people bathing and washing in the morning shows the amazing life this river brings. Later that day we explored more if the old streets and was so humbled by a rickshaw driver who gave us half our money back when we paid him, saying it was only fair. This honesty in a rickshaw driver in this city is really rare, and was really nice :) Czytaj więcej
