Hello from Maumere, Flores

We land in Maumere, the biggest town on the Flores Island. We spend sometime trying to find a motorbike to rent, without much luck and then head to some nice beach front bungalows, and arrive after dark.
It's nice to wake up the next morning and have a suprise as to what it looks like where you are. Here and on many parts of the island the beach disappears at high tide and many have grey black sand. We spend a lazy relaxing day at our bungalow and Lila practises snorkeling in the sea and is more confident each time :)Read more
