Maumere to Paga Beach

We find it to difficult to decide where to go for the rest of our time on Flores, so we decide to take a motorbike trip to Labuan Bajo where we will have our flight in 1 weeks time. It is quite a popular motorbike trip along the trans-Flores highway, which we hear is a good road with beautiful scenery. That way we can just decide as we go, giving us a week to cover roughly 600km.

Today we drive through bamboo forest, banana and coconut plantations and rice paddies. We end up in Paga Beach tonight (only 30km from Maumere), but the beach is nice and we find a welcoming homestay.Læs mere
