Carcasonne!

28Km Alzonne to Camping a l'Ombre des Oliviers, Cazilhac.. a real slog! Surprisingly few refreshment opportunities along the way so relieved to arrive beneath the impressive medieval city.... only to find everywhere shut for 1st May Bank Holiday and a perceptibly intimidating atmosphere of rough, aggressive, opportunists. So, continued 6Km to Cazilhac... Nice quiet campsite except for the local frogs (amphibious!)...it's the mating season!..Read more
