Khemlia Village

Khamlia is a village located near Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg in southeast Morocco near the Algerian border.

We learn more about everyday life in the desert as we visit nomadic families. During our visit, we’ll talk to the women of these families over a cup of tea to learn about their nomadic lifestyle and how they cook, maintain their home, educate their children, and more.Read more
