Salak Palm Orchard

Then we'll set off for our next destination—a salak palm orchard. Salak, also known as snakeskin fruit for its scaly outer layer, is a small sweet fruit indigenous to Indonesia that packs an apple-worthy crunch. During our visit to the family-run orchard, we'll see how this fruit is harvested and visit the on-site workshop to find out how the family turns raw salak into tasty treats. You'll even have a chance to try salak candies and crackers.Meer informatie
