What do you do with one day in Glacier National Park? You pack in as many highlights as you possibly can!!! We arrived in Glacier after a 6 hour drive. We unhooked and headed to the Visitor Center so Willow could get her Junior Ranger Book. We were advised to get bear spray so we purchased some overpriced spray to ward off any unwanted predators. First on the itinerary was the Going to the Sun Road. A hundred years old scenic drive directly through the mountain range. It had twists, turns, scenic view points and waterfalls that you could almost touch from your window! We did the drive to the other side of the park and did a quick walk through a cedar trail. On the way back through the mountain range we saw a black bear, grizzly bear and a elk! Once we got back to the camper around 9:30 we had a wholesome dinner of hotdogs and KD. The next day Willow completed her ranger book and we double backed to the visitor center to get her badge. Next time we are in the area we definitely want to spend more time here.Læs mere
