Biloxi, Mississippi

Biloxi is a place we've heard about in great detail because of Papa Rob and Minga. 27 miles of white sand beaches, Gulf views and beautiful weather. These things we know, what we didn't know is that we would end up meeting some pretty cool friends from Quebec during our stay. We spent our days there watching the kids bond at the playground, chatting around the fire, enjoying beachside dining and racing each other on the go-karts. We met our friends Marcel, Charlene, Clara and Julien on our first night. They were spending a couple weeks in Biloxi while en route to Arizona. The boys had the opportunity to practice their French and our St Jean Baptiste day decorations found some new life! We all hit up the beach across from the campground but called it a day pretty quickly as it was even too cold for us Canadians. Our last evening we had some fun at Shaggy's beach bar. We had some excellent seafood and beer while the kids played at the beach playground. On our walk back we stopped to ride the go-karts and bumper cars at Big Play. This was the highlight of our stay for everyone! In the morning we exchanged contact details, waved goodbye and started the short drive to Alabama.Read more
