O Cebreiro and Triacastela

Las Herrerias, O Cebreiro, and Triacastela

O Cebreiro is the third highest point on the Camino. It was a long and steep climb up to O Cebreiro. Sadly the weather was rainy and misty and there weren't the amazing views from the top. The village is very cute. Tour busses were there as well as heaps of pilgrims. I stopped for an orange juice and packet of chips.

Made my way down the mountain, and was able to catch the bus from Padornelo to Triacastela. Saved me walking 9km and cost €2.60

I went out to dinner at the local Albergue, and asked the girl behind me in line if she would like to share a table. Hilary and I shared a table, and ate Paella. She's from Italy and we had a nice night together.
