Sarria to Portomarin

I decided to have a rest day and catch a taxi to Portomarin. I spent the morning in Sarria and had lunch at a local restaurant. They were good catering for me for gluten free. I saw Kirsten and Andrew. They were staying in Sarria for 2 nights.

I also briefly saw Pat and Brigette. It was nice to see them again. I originally met them at Borda, the first night of walking the Camino.

In Portomarin I caught up with Hilary, who I met in Triacastela. We had dinner together at a local restaurant. She can speak Italian, Spanish and English and it was very helpful when ordering food for me. We had a nice night. She and her girlfriend might come to Brisbane one day.Read more
