Stayed in Madrid for a night after catching the very fast train from Santiago de Compostela. I stayed at Hotel Europa at Puerta del Sol. They gave me a very large room with three beds but it was very noisy with the street noise and people walking by. I discovered a very large grocery store over the road that was basement level below a very big department store. I enjoyed walking around Puerta del Sol and looked for a cork handbag to buy.Read more
