Have bag will travel (🧳🧺)

Morning train to catch complete with my luggage which arrived sometime between 8pm and 1am. Such a relief to have it back but I also remembered today is a laundry day. I took the ICE from Hamburg to Schwerin, my final stop on this trip before the long trip home begins.

A lady is in my reserved seat when I board the train and stubbornly does not want to move. I take the seats behind which offer a better window view anyway. I buy breakfast on the train, a cinnamon roll, coke and snickers bar - a healthy breakfast hey? It’s a quick ride of a little over an hour and my headphones mostly drown out the screaming baby.

I arrived in Schwerin and go straight to the laundromat that is near the station but far from my hotel. A 3 machine process here. One machine washes, one spins and a third dries (although the first dryer I used wasted 20mins as it never heated up). Arriving at my hotel with a clean suitcase of clothes, I take a short nap to be refreshed to explore my final German castle.Leia mais
