Fraser Island Lake McKenzie

Today was another early rise with a 7am breakfast of pancakes. We set off at 7.45am and we're back in a car with most of the originals from black beauty. Today's drive was inland and a very bumpy one indeed! We learned throughout the day that our car had one thing after another wrong with it, which made me happier with my stall the day before! We went to lake mckenzie and arrived before any other tours, which made the early morning worth it. It was absolutely stunning with the clearest of waters! The lake is made up entirely of rain water. Again, it felt so refreshing and Tom and Kevin both agreed it tasted good! We had a go at paddle boarding, no surprise that Tom was much better at this than me.Read more
