Airlie > Townsville > Magnetic Island

We started the day with more kindness from our air bnb host Neil who offered to keep our luggage in his car, drop us into Airlie and meet us at the bus stop with our bags later on. When we got into Airlie I spotted 2 faces we knew, Matthew and Robyn who we met back on the slow boat in Laos! It was good to catch up with them and then we bumped into our friends off the boat, which was good to have a farewell chat with them! The bus was an easy breezy 4 hours which brought us to Townsville. We then had to wait an hour for our ferry crossing to Magnetic Island where we had a nice sunset.Read more
