Daintree Rainforest

Today we set off with our podcasts ready on a road trip up north to Cape Tribulation. We had to cross the daintree River on a ferry crossing which cost 36 dollars for a 2 minute journey! At Cape Tribulation, you can see where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the Reef! Unfortunately, the day was pretty overcast which made our photos lack in quality which seemed to be a theme during our time in Australia! We stopped at many lookouts coming back down the rainforest, but sadly no sightings of cassowaries or (thankfully) crocs! We had a refreshing ice cream stop with ice cream made using fruits from the rainforest.Read more
