Kewak Fire and Dance show

In the evening, we went to see the traditional Kewak fire and dance show which was on at the temple. It was already pretty filled up by the time we got there but we got seats on the end of a row and had an English copy of the story, 'The Monkey King' that was being told throughout the show.

The show started with 50+ men, with ages ranging from young to old who were all sat around a fire pit chanting. These chants were repeated throughout the show. We both thoroughly enjoyed the performance, although Tom was quickly disappointed with the lack of beer due to us rushing!

After the show, we were beaten out of the temple by most of the performers who were not waiting around! We went for a drink at Milk & Madu and then decided it was to be pizza night and went to Mozzarella which didn't disappoint!
