Eleftheria

The best, and most important, part of our trip to Athens was getting to spend time with my friend Eleftheria. She and I met nearly 20 years ago when I was backpacking through, and she worked at the Hostel in the Internet Cafe in Athens. We hit it off and have stayed in touch ever since. Seeing her is always my favorite part of any trip to Greece!

This time, because Kit really needed some "kid" time, we even got to meet her sister and her family. They were just as wonderful as I would expect, and we had a fabulous time! (I should have gotten a pic of just Eleftheria and I, but as usual, these things slip my mind. Ah well!)Les mer
