Summer 2017 Adventure

We had plenty of time to get to our ferry to Patras since it was leaving at 1am. We took a vaporetto to St. Mark's and found that we needed to purchase another ticket to get us to the vaporetto that would take us to Fusina, where the ferry port is. However, the vaporetto failed to mention that the one to Fusina had just finished for the night, so we ended up stuck there. Thankfully, a restaurant owner and his lady friend helped us with alternate plans to get there. We ended up taking a land taxi from Venice to Fusina.

However, when we arrived at Fusina, we discovered that our ferry had been delayed by 7 hours, and there was no way to leave the desolate port. We hunkered down for a night on the floor of the ferry port building, surrounded by mosquitos.Baca lagi
