Avignon Saturday 10th June

The drive to Avignon took us through extensive vineyards and lavender fields. Enjoying the magnificent countryside as we went.
We arrived in Avignon late afternoon and explored the magnificent city inside the walls. Massive cafe culture with almost every pavement and square packed with tables. Beautiful architecture all around, and the Pope's Palace was spectacular! After a quick drink, we headed back to the van and decided to move out of the town for a quieter night.Weiterlesen
