    Beautiful rocks in lake Titicaca landscape

    Puno (lake Titicaca), Peru

    We crossed the border from Bolivia to Peru and within an hour came across beautifull rock formations where we did a nice hike. We stayed overnight at the lake, in a tiny village with pretty old buildings and of course some pre-Columbian ruins (they are everywhere 😂). Next day off to the highlight of this side of the lake, the Uros islands, manmade floating islands. Very interesting to see, generations of families have been living on these islands, at first to escape other, more violent folks and now more in a way of tourism hoping to get some income.Baca selengkapnya
