Day 46: Palazzolo Della Stella to Venice

On our backstreet drive to Venice we passed more wineries. I spotted a huge market at Latisana. We bought some gear but the best was the fried prawns and squid. So light and perfectly cooked. We parked at an official campsite for our 2 night stay in Venice cos I needed a proper shower. Took the boat taxi to Venice and did all the usual things. Rialto bridge, the Basilica, food, wine, shopping, selfies, gondola, live music by night in St Marks square. Big day. Only spoiled by the hour long tram delay past midnight.Read more
