    9 Maret 2017, Lithuania ⋅ ☁️ 6 °C

Well... Actually I didn't expect that my 55th (anniversary!) country will be... Lithuania.
Frankly speaking, I supposed it would be something more exotic. Like my unhappened yet Bolivia.
But then I've decided that this is a chance to put my crazy life on pause regime and go for 4days SPA weekend.
Only bathrobe as a cloth for these days, sweet fresh air as we are in the depth of pine forest on the lake side.
Massages, herbal baths, no stress and total relaxation.
Enjoying the silence and recharging my batteries 😇

    4 Maret 2017, Italia ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

    Life is unpredictable apriori.
My life is double unpredictable as common one.
Instead of Atacama desert found myself in Rome for a weekend 🙈
Don't ask me how it's possible.
In my life everything is possible 😂
Anyway, all what happens is always for the better.
I've been to Rome many times and last one was (omg! 😱) 7 years ago!
So nice to see again one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
I became older, Rome is eternal...
P.S. Nice companion to Atacama - Bolivia trip is wanted. Amazing journey is guaranteed 😉

  • Petra

    25 Februari 2017, Yordania ⋅ ☀️ 6 °C

Day full of very contradictory emotions.
We went by ourselves to famous Petra, Jordan today.
All our good impressions were smashed by very bold locals, whose goal was to rob you in all possible ways.
Morocco, India and all other similar countries have nothing to do with that!
Jordan is far ahead of them!
Not even mention the cosmic entrance fee - almost 120USD!
Prices for the horse carriage and donkey were constantly increasing by the moment you finish the route.
We spent there more than our whole trip to Israel!
Endless "habibi" and "romashka" with all those sticky looks...
And on top of it, real fuc..ng bastards at crossing border back to Israel, threatening us not to tel pass if we not pay extra to them (we were back 20 minutes before the border close and they use this situation demanding us either to pay or we have to spend a night on a Jordan side).
Very, very disappointed and will never go back!
We were so happy to get back to Israel that even were ready to kiss the Holy land!

P.S. Petra itself is amazing 😍

    6 November 2016, Uzbekistan ⋅ ☀️ 13 °C

Every Russian has a part of Middle Asia genes and this tiny part makes Russian sole so mystic and too complicated to understand 😂 (For example, when you are so independent and successful, but your beloved man is still your God and Tsar🙈)
This tiny part called me for many years to go to such interesting country as Uzbekistan.
I had been fascinated by the history of Tamerlane, the posh Empire of Gur Emir and mysterious Sogdiana.
In November 2016 I stopped dreaming, bought the tickets and went to Samarkand and Bukhara.
What a beautiful cities! Safety, cheap even for Russian (no matter how hard I tried I couldn't spend here 50USD for 4 days!!!). It has real eastern atmosphere, magnificent palaces and mausoleums, minimum tourists - to my big surprise a lot of Germans and Italians ( thanks God, it is not yet popular among Russians)
Totally in love with this country!

  • Iceland

    15 September 2016, Islandia ⋅ ☀️ 5 °C

Initially my plan was to go to Slovenia for a long weekend - enjoy last warm days in the mid of September, empty beaches and the sea. But my friends told me that there I will go when I will be a pensioner 🙈
So, the plan was unexpectedly changed to Iceland😂
And it was amazing trip! First of all, I was totally charmed by Reykjavik - very stylish city.
But the biggest love is fantastic nature here.
We were very lucky with weather - all 5 days without rain and wind is real wonder.
We crossed the whole country - from popular Kerry Ring route and black sand beach to the Ice lagoon. After 15th of September it is considered to be winter time and there are no too many tourists.
In one park we were absolutely alone and even could swim in a waterfall 🙈 It was the most refreshing shower on my life! (Water is no more than +6)☃
Iceland is a perfect spotless beauty.
Will definitely return there one day!

  • Tokyo

    22 Juli 2016, Jepang ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

After more than 6 years working in Japanese company I've decided to go and see this absolutely different from us country and people.
One more self made trip allowed to see almost the whole country, though there are still places to come back.
Tokyo and Yokohama were nice though I couldn't get rid of feeling that they stuck in their successful past of 90th. All skyscrapers, techno achievements are now looking a bit old fashioned.
I always prefer nature to big cities so my next stop in Kawaguchiko was more than nice.
Blooming hills, lake with reflection of Fudji, 12 hrs climbing to the top (July is the only month when the climbing to Fuji is possible) and back and then relax in hot water in onsen ...
Magic Temples of old Kyoto and a day in a geisha's dress (to big happiness of Chinese people who stopped me for photos every minute 🙈)
Rest on the coast of Miyajima where wild deer are like friendly pets, strolling along the streets asking for paper booklets (they prefer it to biscuits), wonderful nature and perfectionism in everything.
According to their own word each Japanese has 6 faces. You never know what they are really thinking of you. It's absolutely another world, another planet! Very interesting trip!
Each journey allows to discover so many new things, new people, new stories...
What a wonderful world we are living!

    15 Maret 2016, India ⋅ 🌫 26 °C

India had never been in my short travel list, but when my friends invited me to go there to celebrate Holi fest in March 2016, I couldn't say no))
We chose the golden triangle route - to see most famous Indians attractions and happend to be in Jaipur for the Holi itself.
All city became mad (too much rum, hashih tea with milk on +38 heat helped to support a very good mood), everyone tried to cover me with different colors powder, singing, dancing, hugging... The craziest fest I've ever been!
India shocks you with colors, smells, sounds...
Spicy but tasty food, incredibly amazing but almost destroyed temples, people living in a trash and being happy with such life.
It's an experience ones should try at least to appreciate more what you have in your life!

  • Switzerland

    21 Februari 2016, Swiss ⋅ ⛅ 6 °C

FB kindly reminded me today about my trip to Switzerland exactly a year ago.
Actually, it was a business trip (if the delivery of my boss' daughter to posh St Moritz ski resort can be called a business😂)
It was not my first time in Switzerland but this tiny country is so nice and there are still so many places to discover.
So, Lucern is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been. It's like to find out yourself inside a postcard 😍
Old beautiful architecture, simple and good (but very expensive) food 🙈
But the most stunning is nature, of course!
Snowy mountains and green hills with first spring flowers, air is so clean that it is sweet, transparent water in the lake inside the city...
    It's like a paradise!
A paradise I'd love to live when I will be 90...
Now it's too quiet for me 😂

    30 Desember 2015, Namibia ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

My first acquaintance with real Africa began in Namibia. 3 girls in a huge Toyota Hilux - we crossed the whole country within 2 weeks.
Amazing colors of dunes in Namib desert, a lot of wild animals, absolutely mystic place - Dead Valley, happiest New Year celebration on the ocean cost.... Best food, open and very friendly people.
I will definitely return one day here!
P.S. Lesson #1 - never, never drive on a black sand! There is a water behind it and it can swollow your car within an hour.
Thanks to local guys who saved us in the middle of nowhere 🙏

  • France

    12 Juli 2015, Perancis ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

I try to mix posh/trash trips and finally came the time to change trekking shoes for high heels and silk dresses - we headed to discover unknown (at least among Russians) part of France: Alsace, Champagne, Normandie and Bretagne.
Small flowery towns - Colmar and Kaisersberg, where real soul of Old France still has remained, houses in fachwerk style, blooming Giverny, where I finally visited the villa of my adorable Monet (I would also became a painter if I lived in such a place 😂)
Posh Dinard, where we stayed for a week on Atlantics - place where high level French bourgeois spend their holidays.
And, finally, Nante - it was impossible to miss the native city of the hero of my childhood - Jule Vernes
What can I say it's absolutely different France.
With a lot of stereotypes ruined and if Paris demanded 5 times visit to love it, those regions immediately conquered my heart.
Especially Rouen! Very old and beatiful city with such a magic atmosphere.
City where I felt I am ready to love again....

  • Morocco

    1 Januari 2015, Maroko ⋅ ⛅ 5 °C

I have a tradition that I follow already for 14 years - to celebrate New Year's Eve in a different country (preferably warm😀)
So, my 2015 year began in a depth of Sahara desert.
It was a road trip along the whole Morocco and though I've been there before, for the second time I was even more impressed by this country.
My special love is Essaouira - city with a unique charm and aura.
Amazing Legzira with crazy energy of the ocean and it's orange arcs.
Absolutely fairy tale Chefchauen - city with 50 shades of blue high in the mountains.
Morocco is underestimated by many travelers who stay mostly in Agadir and can't feel the real sole of this country.
As for new year's night it was one of the best in my life: after 3 hours ride on a camel along absolutely Dali landscapes we arrived to our camp, where the festive food and fire were already waiting for us.
Dancing along the fire all night (its damn cold at night at the desert! ⛄️) with Berbers who were singing Alah Akbar 🙈, looking at the huge stars above me I was absolutely happy and sure that it would be a very special year.
At 5 am we climbed to the highest dune (real challenge after cognac, followed by cold wind and your legs stucking deep in the sand) and met the sunrise there.
Thus my 1st day of 2015 began.
Travels are the most precious things in my life.
It gives so much unforgettable moments and emotions that are always with me.
