Hidden in the middle of the Andes, 2.400m above sea level, Machu Picchu was built around 1450 by the Incas. Only 100 years ago it was discovered and known to the world. Machu Picchu means "old mountain".

Today we were able to visit this stunning place, it was truly amazing to finally see this world wonder in person 😍

We also hiked up to the Sun Gate, from which we could see Machu Picchu from above.Read more
