    Day 74 - Leer

    I started quite early to get to Groningen today & got a ride to Hamburg soon. There I had to wait a while & had to go to Hanover with a really friendly pair Afghans, who even donated me 20€. After this ride I drove to Osnabrück, where I arrived at half past 7 & quite hitching since I wanted to arrive in the Netherlands somewhen that night. So I took the train & as we know the Deutsche Bahn, the schienenersatzverkehr dropped me off in the middle of nothing with no chance to get any further. Fortunately I met a guy, Keno, in the group of lost people, who was so friendly to take me with him to Leer and share his couch, so that I didn't have to sleep outside.
    I'm really fucked up with how things went, but I met lovely people & didn't miss any comfort, so enjoyed the unwelcome adventure & hope that the next day's will work out a little better for me.    Read more

    Day 77 - Groningen

    I had a huge hike through Groningen, met the people from the squat & found new boots for along the way. Also we went dumpstering, but as we haven't had a bike, we were just able to search in the center, where of course wasn't much to find.Read more

    Today me & Léa started together to Utrecht, to have a small walk trough the city & afterwards visit the famous squat Bikewars just outside the city. We met really lovely people there & will sleep there in a week to be able to check the whole place out.Read more

    Day 79 - Leiden

    Today we've been strolling around Leiden without any plans, since it's a quiet small town. In the afternoon we were invited to meet at a squat & had some coffee & beer accompanied by a nice talk with some squatters and a raid in the free shop. In the evening we had our loads of saved food to make a huge dinner and finished the night over a bottle of Jack's.Read more

    Day 81 - Amsterdam

    Today we walked over 30km to the city center where we first stopped at ASEED & all included, 2 organisations who are fighting for sustainability and migrants rights. There after we strolled through the center & went to the Amsterdam Street Medics to have a chat & some coffee. Afterwards we went to the Volandbunker to see some anarchistic art & then go food saving & back to our host's place.Read more

    Day 84 - Utrecht

    After a 15km hike we got to Utrecht & were received with safed chicken in an onionbrew. The next day I had to calm down & rest after the last week & only cycled to Zeist to find some cheese & hazelnut Crème, to gain some energy again. On our 3rd day we sprayed some graffiti & had a small party in the squat & I finally got my beard-trimmer again from our host last week, so that I'll shave myself after a massive shower in Rotterdam. We're continuing tomorrow morning after a small clean up & hitch to the last city in the netherlands on my trip.Read more

    Day 86 - Rotterdam

    We arrived at 3pm after 2 short lifts & 25€ plus, which we found. In the evening we had a lovely dinner on a sailing boat & afterwards a small get together until 4 am. After a huge sleep we strolled through the city center & found a capitalistic distopia of skyscrapers and boats. In the evening we cooked a huge meal of saved food from the market & talked till 5 am about live in the Netherlands as internationals. Today we'll walk to an abandoned building to spray some graffitis & rest for the next tour to Belgium tomorrow.Read more

    We came to gent just by chance, since we couldn't find a host. We strolled through the city center with over 27 km, dumpsterd loads of food (even raquette) and baked cakes! Here I finally had the time to write on my diary and to rest a while. Lovely, lovely people & I'll definitely come back next year!Read more

    Day 93 - Brussels

    I had a huge walk after I departed with Lea. Now I'm on my own again to stroll through the city & sticker the EU Parliament. The weather is quite sunny so far, but will change in the afternoon.
    I stumbled also over a demonstration against violence against women, where I met some friendly shouting activistis whom I had a coffee with & learned a bit about the police brutality in Belgium & the left-wing movements, esp. of the cooperation du sans papers Belgique.Read more

    I had a really hard time getting lifts in the right direction today. I have to stay at the gas station the night since it's raining outside & I'm hoping for the next lift to come fast. I'm quite tired, but will have some coffee & read a bit on the chair of the gambling machine.Read more

    Day 100 - Zürich

    I walked everywhere here in Zurich. First to all the squats to find a proper sleeping place, where I finally could sleep in a church from the FFFs. Then through the center to properly do a tourist tour, then to dumpster & then again just for fun. All in all I had 3 hosts & a huge amount of kms in my feet.Read more

    Resting, dumpstering and loads of cooking in Konstanz. I've been invited to the birthday party of a flatmate, but for the rain it just was a small gathering in the main hall. We found quite some gold in the dumpsters and after crashing my phone I hope this will give me some possibility from the big sky daddy to maybe even dumpster a smartphone as well.Read more

    Day 110 - Innsbruck

    I had to sleep one night at a gas station, but arrived in Innsbruck warm and safe. In the evening we went up in the hills with some friends to a 250 year old Hut without any electricity or water, "sehr urig". We partied there with rainbows and before leaving had to clean a van from 30cm new snow to get it a km to the street.Read more

    First night we partied with some models from Bratislava as pre-Christmas, the day after I had some huge rest-alcohol (also called hangover) & met with some travelers in the evening as an experience exchange.     New years party was better than expected, with ~30 people to dance, talk & have fun with. I also got my new years kiss & we saw some fireworks over the city. The days around were a bit troublesome, but in the end, that's just how life goes.Read more
