• The Shrine of Knock

    1. September 2015 in Irland ⋅ ⛅ 54 °F

At 3:00 pm we are at Knock, the holiest shrine in Ireland. I am struck by the mechanical nature of the rules and regulations of the Catholic religion. Pray to this saint for healing, to that saint for fertility, to another saint for prosperity. It's a big scam. We see in the distance Croagh Patrick, according to tradition St. Patrick landed on Ireland and debated with his conscience for forty days about whether or not to convert the Irish.Weiterlesen
